Elmswood House is an elegant historic house which has been lovingly maintained and proudly boasts many original features of a bygone era. Rooms are en suite and beautifully appointed, guaranteeing our guests a very comfortable and relaxed stay.

We have a selection of en-suite double, king size and twin rooms for guests to choose from.

All rooms are equipped with:

Rates quoted are for bed & breakfast accommodation per room per night at full room occupancy and for a minimum stay of two nights.

For single occupancy of a double or twin room, please contact us for price and availability.

We regret that we cannot accommodate children under 10 years old, or pets.

Our check-in time is from 4pm to 7pm unless you make a prior arrangement with us when making your reservation.

A deposit of your first night’s accommodation will be required to reserve your booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation notice must be given no less than 28 days prior to arrival for refund of deposits. Deposits will not be refunded if cancellations are made within 28 days of arrival unless at the discretion of the proprietors. Allowances cannot be made for guests arriving later or departing earlier than their reserved dates. A £5 administration fee will apply to any refund. We recommend that guests purchase travel/holiday insurance to cover for cancellation or curtailment.
